Education: Novosibirsk Agricultural Institute, cinematography faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1967 r.).

Career: He worked as a cinematographer at the Novosibirsk Newsreel Studio (1964-1968 year), director of the Lviv office of "Ukrkinochronika" (1968-1971 year), and with 1972 p. ‑ on "Ukrkinochronica" in Kyiv, where he shot films mainly based on his own scripts.
